2.4 Pull-out Tabs

Both the System and Storage Nodes have a pull-out tab that contains the part number and serial number of
the node printed on it. The pull-out tab can be located in the following locations:
• System Node - Top-center of the node.
• Storage Node - To the right of the SSD drive.

2.5 Mounting kits

ActiveScale P100 systems can ship with one of two rail kit configurations:
• The System Nodes, Storage Nodes, and System Interconnects all use 3U rail kits.
• The System Interconnects use a 3U rail kit. The System Nodes and Storage Nodes use 1U rail kits.
The following sections describe each of the available mounting kits for each component.

2.5.1 Differences between the 1U mounting kits

ActiveScale P100 systems use different mounting kits for System and Storage Nodes.

2.5.1.1 System Node mounting kit

The System Node mounting kits consist of an inner rail and an outer rail with white plastic tabs on the
inner rails. The inner rail is secured to the server using pegs and a single screw on each side. The outer rails
