the inside of the rack. Flanges should be supporting components from the bottom
of each U-space. If the flanges are not installed properly, the rail kit will not
install correctly. In the case of an incorrect installation, the washer plates will not
attach easily.
Tip: Have the mounting screws, washer plates, and screwdriver within reach
while installing the 3U mounting kits. You will have to hold the mounting
bracket being installed with one hand while installing the washer plates and
screws with the other.
1. Fully extend the bracket you are installing.
Caution: If performing this task alone is too difficult or unsafe because of the
build circumstances, have another person assist you. The second person can
