3.2.2 CPA valve terminal with separation of pressure zones

The CPA valve terminal can be fitted with the following
number of pressure zones, depending on the con-
nection variant:

The pressure zones are implemented by means of
special sub-bases which block the compressed air
channel (1).
Valves plates fitted onto sub-bases with separate press-
ure zones are operated with compressed air which is
supplied on the left-hand side of this sub-base (see Fig.
3/5). The number of pressure zones with which your
CPA valve terminal is equipped is indicated on the
special sub-base (grey point above work connection 2).
CPA valve terminals with two pressure zones
These CPA valve terminals have a sub-base with sep-
aration of the pressure zones. The left-hand pressure
zone is supplied with compressed air via connection 1
on the left-hand end plate; the right-hand pressure zone
is supplied with compressed air via connection 1 on the
right-hand end plate.
