The following product-specific terms and abbreviations
are used in this manual
Meaning
Plate for supplying pressure zones in the centre of the CPA valve
terminal. In this plate the compressed air is taken from work
connection 2 so that the appropriate valve plates are supplied with
compressed air.

Designation of the CPA valve terminal sizes:
CPA valve terminal with micro valve plates
CPA valve terminal with mini valve plates
Special cable for connecting the various CP modules.
Common term for the various modules which can be
combined in a CP system
Complete system consisting of CP field bus node and

CPA valve terminal (type 12) for field bus systems or with IC, MP, or
AS-i connections
CPA valve terminal variant with serial connections which enable the
valve terminal to be connected to the AS-i bus.
CPA valve terminal variant with socket and plug which enables the
CPA valve terminal to be connected to further CP modules.
CPA valve terminal on which each valve solenoid coil is individually
connected via a special cable.
CPA valve terminal variant with Sub-D plug via which all valve
solenoid coils are centrally connected.
