Resetting The Load Off Button - Powerware Plus 80 Operation

by a clear plastic shield. In an emergency, you can press this button to
open the input breaker and interrupt UPS output. The UPS is cut off Tom
utility power, and your critical load is de-energized. All power to the critical load is lost.
The UPS (including Bypass) remains locked oft until you reset the Load Ofl button.
AU POWER TO THE CRITICAL LOAD IS LOST WHEN YOU PRESS THIS
OR WHEN YOU WANT TO DE-ENERGIZE THE CRITICAL LOAD.
To restart the UPS after pressing me Load Off button. follow the procedure described in
'Resetting the Load Ofi Sutton" befure starling the UPS.
NOTE: The Remote Emergency Load Off option functions the same way as
button on tie UPS.
To use the Load Off button:

me breaker and wntactors open (you can hear them opening). The CBl switch trips.

Resetting the Load Off Button

The bad Ofl Rssst button is a small white recessed button on the operator panel. The
Reset button pops out and the Cei switch tips when the Load Off button is activated.

Move the CBl witch from the center (tripped) position to Off. The switch
should be dlcult to move from the tripped position.
Move the CBl switch to ON.
The Load Ofl button ie now reset. To restart the UPS system, follow the pmcedurs in
'Stopping and Starting the UPS on page 15.
