monitors itself and the incoming utility power. In Battery or Bypass modes,
the UPS may issue alarms to let you know exactly what event caused the swttch from
Normal mode. System events can be indicated by horns, lights on the UPS, or both.
Select Aotfve from the Events menu on the LCD screen to look at the Acttve System
Events screen. This screen shows any currentty active alarms, notices, or commands.
System Event Horns
The system event horn's beep depends on the type of event
When the UPS detects an alarm that requires your attention, the horn beeps
l
at V&second intervals.
When a notice occurs, the horn beeps at Z-second intervats.
l
If the battery contactor is open and the Bypass is unavatlabte. the horn beeps
l
every 4 seconds.
System Event Lights
to let you know when the UPS is operating in any mode other than Normal. Only the
Normal indicator is visible during normal UPS operation. The others light to indicate
what type of event has taken place. (For descriptions
