UPS Standard Features
Your UPS has many standard features that enable it to provide you
The Monitor Panel on the front of the UPS contains an LCD screen where you can see
information about the current status of the UPS, view a statistical history and log of UPS
events, and display a real-time graphic representation of power flowing through the UPS
components. Backlit status indicators show the operating mode of the UPS and alert you
lo system events as they occur. The monitor panel is described in "Using the Monitor
Panel" on page 19.
Panel
The Control Panel inside the rigM door of the UPS contains the operator controls you use
to start and stop the UPS, change its operating mode, and reset me Load Off feature. The
operator panel is described in "Using the Control Panel' on page 15.
Interface Panel
Two serial communicationa pods are standard on all units, and are electricalfy isolated
from the UPS. You can use these ports to link the UPS system to a remote terminal,
from which you can view information similar to that displayed on the LCD screen.

You can connect your facffiis alarm system contacts to six (6) inputs in me UPS. The

A standard input fi/rer yields power factor correction that allows you to save on your initial
installation and operatfng costs. The filter also reduces input harmonic current distortion
and minimize9 upstream interference that can damage sensftive hardware components.
Emergency Load 08
A Loed Off buUon is provided for situations where you must immediatefy
your

Automatic Battery Charge Current Limit
A preset limit restricts battery charging current, to protect batteries from damage due to
high current charging. Charging at high currents can overheat and damage batteries.

Power and control wiring can be routed through the top or bottom of eachUPS cabinet.
Each cabinet has an internal wireway. In addition. you can install the caster assemblies
provided with each cabinet for ease of movement during instaffatfon.
