This chapter describes the operating principle and construction of the drive module.

Operation principle

The ACQ580-34 is a low-harmonic drive module for controlling asynchronous AC induction
motors, permanent magnet motors in open loop control and synchronous reluctance motors.
The drive includes a line-side converter and a motor-side converter. The parameters and
signals for both converters are combined into one primary user program.
