9.13.1 Outline of intake throttle valve

The intake throttle valve adjusts the intake air flow
amount.

9.13.3 Function of intake throttle valve

The intake throttle valve adjusts the intake air flow
amount.
Wide open throttle state is maintained during normal
operation.
The engine ECU changes the amount the intake
throttle valve is open during DPF regeneration control,
raising the exhaust gas temperature.
