SERVICING
1. Troubleshooting
Symptom
The output is deficient
The lubricant oil consumption is
too much
The fuel is mixed into the lubri-
cant oil
Water is mixed into the lubricant
oil
The oil pressure is low
D1803-CR-E4,D1803-CR-TE4,D1803-CR-TIE4,V2403-CR-E4,V2403-CR-TE4,V2403-CR-TE4BG,V2403-CR-TIE4
Probable cause
The supply pump is damaged
The injector is damaged
There is compression leakage
There is a gas leakage from the
exhaust system
The air cleaner is clogged
There is an air leakage from the
compressor discharge side
The gap of the piston ring points
to the same direction
The oil ring is worn out or cannot
move
The piston ring groove is worn
out
The valve stem and valve guide
are worn out
The crankshaft bearing and the
crankpin bearing is worn out
The injector is damaged
Oil dilution due to regeneration
The head gasket is damaged
The crankcase or cylinder head
is damaged
The engine oil is not sufficient
The oil strainer is clogged
The relief valve does not operate
with dirt
The oil clearance of the bearings
are too much
The oil passage is clogged
Solution
Replace
