2-3-7 Focus adjustment function

[Function specific to LP-Sxxx type]
With this function, the distance from work (focal length) can be adjusted without moving up/down the head.
Marking energy density can be reduced by moving the focus point of the laser spot with the specified distance between the
works and changing the spot diameter.
• Avoid high temperature, high humidity, oil mist, dust and dirt when the focus is adjusted.
• Always close the cover after adjusting the focus. The work distance might be changed if the cover is not closed. The
proof characteristics of the marker head are not ensured when the focus adjusting cover is opened.
• Use the focus adjusting function when the product is installed. Do not use this function for the daily use such as setup
change. Excessive use of this function may cause failure of the product.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the
focus adjustment cover.
Keep the cover for next use.

Turn the focus adjusting control with a flat-
blade screwdriver.
• Do not turn the screw beyond the scale markings with
an extra force. It may cause the product failure.
* This function is not implemented in the LP-SxxxW type.
Turn in the left direction (Near direction) : Makes the work distance
(focal length) shorter.
Turn in the right direction (Far direction) : Makes the work distance
(focal length) longer.
