Parameters for configuring the IO mode. NPN/PNP and setting up IO to Input or Output.

2.8.3. 5-1* Digital Inputs
Parameters for configuring the input functions for the input terminals.
The digital inputs are used for selecting various functions in the frequency converter. All digital inputs can be set to the following functions:

Function:
Digital inputs and programmed digital outputs are pre-programmable for operation either in PNP or NPN systems.
Action on positive directional pulses (↕). PNP systems are pulled down to GND.
Action on negative directional pulses (↕). NPN systems are pulled up to + 24 V, internally in the frequency
converter.
Function:
Defines terminal 27 as a digital input.
Defines terminal 27 as a digital output.
Function:
Defines terminal 29 as a digital input.
Defines terminal 29 as a digital output.
