Warning and Caution Summary

Caution: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environ-
ment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency
energy, and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Opera-
tion of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause interference in
which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his or her
own expense
Use of controls, adjustments, or performance of procedures
other than those specified herein may result in hazardous laser
light radiation exposure.
Up to 5 mW of laser diode power can be present in the interior.
Avoid opening the scan head. Inspect housing to verify that
loose casings or panels do not allow access to laser light.
The laser beam can be harmful to eyesight. Avoid direct eye
con tact with the laser beam. Never point the beam at other
people, or in a direction where people may be passing.
