System of coordinates based on the axes of the machine tool.
A fixed point on the machine tool which can be referenced by all
(derived) measurement systems.
A channel structure makes it possible to reduce downtimes by
allowing sequences of motions to be executed in parallel. For
example, a loading gantry can execute its movements during a
machining operation. In this case, a CNC channel ranks as an
autonomous CNC control complete with decoding, block preparation
and interpolation.
Multiple programming language instructions can be combined in a
single statement. This abbreviated sequence of instructions is called
in the CNC program under a user--defined name. The macro
executes the instructions sequentially.
A block prefixed by ":" containing all the parameters required to start
execution of a --> part program.
--> Part program identified by a number or name in which other main
programs, subroutines or --> cycles may be called.
Part program blocks which have been decoded and prepared by the
preprocessor are executed during the "main run".
Control system operating mode: Manual Data Automatic. In the
MDA mode, individual program blocks or block sequences with no
reference to a main program or subroutine can be input and
executed immediately afterwards through actuation of the NC Start
key.
