3.8 Trial operation
3.8.1 Checklist for start-up
1. Before the machine fills with water, the following must be checked:
•
Water and drain connections
•
The machine should be standing level, see chapter "Installation" on page
13
•
The washing basket should allow easy movement in and out of the
machine
•
The equipment for detergent and drying agent are correctly connected
•
The level pipe, cover plates and filters should be in position
•
The FU21/42 mini-switch (fuse for tank and booster heater elements)
should be in the OFF position
•
The right amount of granules should be in the machine
•
The overheating protection has been reset
2. Filling the machine:
•
Open the tap(s) to the dishwasher's water connection and fill the break tank
with water. Bleed the booster pump, see chapter "Bleeding the booster
pump" on page 19
•
switch on the power to the machine. Press the switch-on/switch-off button
•
fill the machine with water, see chapter "Filling with water" on page 38.
The booster heater fills automatically.
•
when the tank and booster heater are filled with water, the FU21/42 mini-
switch is set to the ON position
•
Check the pumps' direction of rotation. NB: If the pump is rotating in the
wrong direction, the phase must be inverted on the incoming electrical
cable connection
•
bleed the hood cylinder, see chapter "Bleeding the hood lifting cylinder" on
page 19
3. Check the setting of the reference values:
•
Check that all the reference values are set to the recommended values
•
Check that the water temperatures in the tank, booster heater etc. are
reached as per the reference values
4. Run a number of washes complete with loads and check that:
•
There are no water leaks
•
The hood switch functions
•
The hood automatic system operates correctly; i.e. the hood goes up
automatically when a wash programme has been run and that it goes up
and down as it should when the hood operating button is pressed
