Using the dishwasher

4.3.11 Operating problems

PROBLEM
No indication on the control
panel display when the con-
trol button is pressed.
The machine will not fill with
water.
The tanks will not stop filling
with water.
Noise from the wash pump.
The machine is not cleaning
properly.
Granules are sticking to the
washed items.
The granules end up in the
wrong tank.
Items do not dry.

Troubleshooting

CAUSE
Safety switch off.
The shut-off tap on the in-
coming water supply is
closed.
The level pipe is not in place
in the tank.
The level pipe's rubber
sleeve is not sealing against
the bottom plate.
Low water level. Foam in the
tank.
See chapter "Check the wash result" on page 44.
The rinse nozzles are
blocked.
There is too much foam in the
machine.
The dividing wall in the tank
has not been cleaned.
The cover plates and/or filter
are not in place in the tank or
have been incorrectly fitted.
The rinse nozzles are
blocked.
if the actions given in the table above do no help, the service company should be
contacted to correct the fault.
When contacting the service company, the following details relating to the ma-
chine should be provided:
• Machine type and model
• Machine serial number and installation date
• Short description of the fault/problem
• What happened immediately before the fault occurred

ACTION
Switch on the safety switch.
Open the tap.
Fit the level pipe.
Check that the level pipe is
closed. Change the rubber
sleeve if it is damaged.
Check the level. Change the
water.
Clean the nozzles.
Check to see how clean the
wash water is. Change the
water if necessary.
Clean the dividing wall, see
section "Cleaning the inside
of the machine" on page 48
Fit cover plates and strain-
er(s). Check they are correct-
ly located and cover the tank.
Check and clean the nozzles.
