By reference to these instructions you can commission the control unit and check
the individual parts of the installation.
The chapter 10 "Detailed procedures" helps you to perform the following functions:
Checking the optical and acoustic elements

Enabling access level 2 for operation
–
Testing all alarm devices
–
Calibrating control lines 4 and 5
–
Working in system test mode
–
NOTE
Before commissioning, please read the safety regulations detailed in chapter 2
Ensure that:
The control unit is correctly mounted.

The installation is connected to the peripheral devices.
–
The connections of all detector bases are checked.
–
All detector lines and monitored inputs are provided with end-of-line resistors.
–
Control lines 1 to 3 are provided with an end-of-line element.
–
All accessory parts are present.
–
The mains power voltage is available.
–
The installation of the cylinder bank and the pipe system is completed.
–
1. Check the detector lines, manual activation and the monitored inputs.
2. Terminate unused monitored inputs and outputs with an end-of-line element or
an end-of-line resistor.
3. Check the control lines for correct connecting.
4. Set the jumpers and the DIP switches on the two main boards.
5. Check the power supply and the voltage selection.
6. Mechanically block the extinguishing releasing device.
CAUTION
Ensure that the extinguishing device is in fact mechanically blocked.
