5.6.1 Activating Licenses Online

If the Review Station is connected to the intranet, activating a
licenses is a simple, one-step process.
To activate a license online:
þ The Review Station is connected to the internet.
þ You located the Activation ID of the license you want to use
for this Review Station.
1. Login to the CLARUS® 500 software on the Review Station
as an Administrator.
2. Select Settings > Licenses.
3. For Online License Activation, type the activation ID.
4. Click Create request file.
5. Click Activate.
ü The newly activated license appears as Active at the top of
the license settings page.

5.6.2 Activating Licenses Offline

If the Review Station is not connected to the internet, you can
activate the license offline. Using this method you exchange a
Request (XML file) for a Response (XML file) with your ZEISS
representative.
5.6.2.1 Requesting Licenses Offline
When you request a license, you create an XML license request file
and send it to your ZEISS representative.
To request a license offline:
þ You located the Activation ID of the license you want to use
for this Review Station.
1. Login to the CLARUS® 500 software on the Review Station
as an Administrator.
