A voice connection is made to the Mercedes-
R

can transmit the vehicle position data to one
of the public emergency services call centres.
Under certain circumstances data is also
R

Mercedes-Benz emergency call centre.
This allows measures for rescue, recovery or
towing to a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre to
be initiated quickly.

flashes until the emergency call is finished.
It is not possible to immediately end an auto‐

sent to the public emergency services call centre.
If no connection can be made to the public emer‐
gency services, a corresponding message
appears in the display.
