Always be particularly careful when in

the vicinity of the tailpipe and tailpipe
Observe the following notes:
Notes on cleaning and care
Wheels/rims Use water and acid-free wheel cleaner.
Windows
Clean windows inside and outside with a
damp cloth and with a cleaning agent
recommended for Mercedes-Benz .
Wiper blades Carefully clean the folded-away wiper
blades with a damp cloth.
Exterior
Clean the lenses with a wet sponge and
lighting
mild cleaning agent, e.g. car shampoo.
Sensors
Clean the sensors in the front and rear
bumper and in the radiator grille with a
soft cloth and car shampoo.
Reversing
Use clean water and a soft cloth to clean
camera and
the camera lens.
360° Cam‐
era
Trailer hitch
Remove traces of rust on the ball,

e.g. with a wire brush.
Remove dirt with a lint-free cloth.

After cleaning, lightly oil or grease

the ball head.
Observe the notes on care in the

trailer hitch manufacturer's operat‐
ing instructions.
Sliding door
Remove foreign objects from the

vicinity of the contact plates and
contact pins of the sliding door.
Clean the contact plates and contact

pins with a mild cleaning agent and a
soft cloth.

Preventing damage to the vehicle
Do not use acidic wheel cleaners to

remove brake dust. Otherwise, wheel
bolts and brake components may be
damaged.
To avoid corrosion of brake discs and

brakepads, drive for a few minutes
after cleaning before parking the
vehicle. The brake discs and brake‐
pads warm up and dry out.
Do not use dry cloths or abrasive or sol‐
vent-based cleaning agents to clean the
inside of windows.
Do not clean the wiper blades too often.
Only use cleaning agents or cloths suita‐
ble for plastic lenses.
When using a high-pressure cleaner,
keep a minimum distance of 30 cm.
Do not use a high-pressure cleaner.
Do not clean the ball neck with a high-
pressure cleaner or solvent.
Do not oil or grease the contact plates
and the contact pins.
