5.1.3 The Right-key Function on LCP 21
Press [►] to edit any of the 4 digits on the display
individually. When pressing [►] once, the cursor moves to
the first digit and the digit starts flashing as shown in
Illustration 5.5. Press the [

[►] can also be used for moving between parameter
groups. When in Main Menu, press [►] to move to the first
parameter in the next parameter group (for example, move
from parameter 0-03 Regional Settings [0] International to
parameter 1-00 Configuration Mode [0] Open loop).

5.2 Main Menu

The Main Menu gives access to all parameters.
1.
To enter Main Menu, press [Menu] until the
indicator in the display is placed above Main
Menu.
2.

]: Browse through the parameter groups.
3.
Press [OK] to select a parameter group.
4.

] [
]: Browse through the parameters in the
specific group.
5.
Press [OK] to select the parameter.
6.
[►] and [
] [
]: Set/change the parameter value.
7.
Press [OK] to accept the value.
8.
To exit, press either [Back] twice (or 3 times for
array parameters) to enter Main Menu, or press
[Menu] once to enter Status.

principles of changing the value of continuous,
enumerated, and array parameters, respectively. The
actions in the illustrations are described in Table 5.4,
Table 5.5, and Table 5.6.
