10.2 Data transfer between the PC and reader
Opening the RF310M workstation/"Flash Disk" directory
Then select the "RF310M/Flash Disk" directory and open it.

In the directory, you will find the file "READ.XML" and the files you have saved with the
extension ".XML". You can now drag or copy and paste these files from the drive of the
SIMATIC RF310M to the PC drive.
You can now view and modify the file contents on the PC using a suitable editor.
You can use any editor to display the XML structure:
● Notepad
● Write
● Microsoft Word
● Microsoft Internet Explorer
