Tag Type Selection

Tag Type Selection
Use "Tag" > "Tag Type" to select the type of tag you wish to edit.

The tag types supported by the SIMATIC RF310M are selected here. Depending on this
selection, the corresponding memory areas are displayed in the data editor with the memory
size supported by this selected tag type.
For memory areas of the RF300 tags (read/write memory) refer to the SIMATIC RF300
System Manual, "Transponders", section "Features" of the relevant tags. You can activate
the OTP functionality for all ISO tags in the window "Tag Type Selection" if you set the check
mark for "OTP Memory".
With the OTP functionality activated, the most significant 16 bytes of the user memory are
handled as the OTP memory. This OTP area is handled analogous to the EEPROM area of
an RF300 tag. It can be read and written as normal, and can be write-protected using the
function "Write OTP".
