Initialize the tag

The "Init Tag" function is used to overwrite the complete data area of a tag with a specific
value.
Prerequisite
A writable memory area is selected in the data editor:
● The memory area of the complete tag if the "Complete" check mark is selected in the
data editor; or
● The memory area set in the fields "Address" and "Length".
Procedure for initializing the tag
1. Select "Tag > Init Tag".
2. You can enter a hexadecimal or decimal value with which you wish to write to the
selected memory area in the window "Initialize Tag". Click "OK" to confirm.
The tag is then initialized.
Once the tag has been successfully initialized, the corresponding value is also preset in the
data editor.
