Specific Example 1
The output references Param1 and
the input references Param2, so
look at both Param1 and Param2.
The unit is µs, so convert to ms.
The minimum is 5 ms and the
maximum is 400 ms, so the RPI
(request packet interval) of Param1 is
the desired value between 5 and 400.
The unit is µs, so convert to ms.
The minimum is 6 ms and the
maximum is 700 ms, so the RPI
(request packet interval) of Param2 is
the desired value between 6 and 700.
Param1 is 5 to 400 and Param2 is 6 to
700, so RPI (request packet interval) is
set to the desired value between 6 and
400 that corresponds to both.
 In the actual EDS file, the [Params] section comes before the [Connection Manager] section.
Specific Example 2
The output and input reference the
same item, so RPI (request packet
interval) references Param1 only.
The unit is µs, so convert to ms.
The minimum is 5 ms and the maximum is
10,000 ms, so the desired value between
0.5 to 10,000 is the RPI (request packet
interval). However, the MPE720 only
supports values between 4 ms and 750
ms, so set the desired value between 4
and 750.
 In the actual EDS file, the [Params] section comes before the [Connection Manager] section.
