Click File - Save Communication Port. A confirmation dialog box will be displayed. Click the Yes but-
ton to save the communication port settings.
These settings will be used as the communication port information whenever the Communication Platform is
started.

Click File - Quit the Application to close the Communication Platform window. A confirmation dia-
log box will be displayed. Click the Yes button to close the Communication Platform window.

In the Communication Manager window, double-click a number in the Logical PT column of a line
which has not been set to view the Logical Port Setting dialog box.

In the Logical Port Setting dialog box, select Port Kind from the options, and then click the Detail
button.
 The connector on the Machine Controller side can also be connected to a computer (MPE720) using an Ether-
net communication port other than that on the 263IF-01 Module. Select the communication port type according
to the connector on the Machine Controller side that will be used.
