Log in to My Oracle Support (

Click the Knowledge tab.

9.9 Sending Test Alerts

To send test alerts, complete the following:
Login to the Exalytics Host as the

Send Test Alerts for ILOM telemetry by running the following command:

#ipmitool sunoem cli "set /SP/alertmgmt/rules/1 testrule=true"
Send Test Alerts for Exalytics host machine by running the following command:

#./opt/exalytics/asr/bda_mon_hw_asr.pl -validate_snmp_subscriber -type asr
You will receive an e-mail notification for the test alerts.
Note:
Oracle highly recommends to send test alerts from the ILOM, and the
Exalytics host machine.
