General instructions for installation

Warning
Uncontrolled movements of the connected actuator technology and loose tubing can
cause injury to persons and/or damage to property.
• Before carrying out installation and maintenance work, switch off the following:
– Compressed air supply including venting of the system
– Operating and load voltage supplies.
Warning
Risk of injury due to residual pressure
When the input pressure is being switched off (e.g. during a venting procedure), a resid
ual pressure of P2  1 bar (P2  0,1 MPa) can remain at the output of the MSE6-E2M.
• Use appropriate measures to ensure that the residual pressure does not result in a
hazard.

Bus node settings

Each bus node has a service interface. Additional electric interfaces, setting and display components
are available, depending on the bus node used. A detailed description of the equipment characteristics
can be found in the corresponding brief description of the bus node (è Tab. 1) or in the system descrip
tion for the energy efficiency module (è MSE6-E2M-SY-...).
