Cause
• The ink cartridge IC chip cannot be cor-
rectly read.
• An error occurred in the information of
the ink IC chip.
The ink type of loaded ink IC chip is dif-
ferent from the ink type to be loaded.
The ink color of loaded ink IC chip is dif-
ferent from the ink color to be loaded.
No ink IC chip (ink bottle not loaded).
Ink end (no ink).
INK NEAR END (remains slight ink).
The specified expiration date of an ink
cartridge has passed. (Available)
The specified expiration date of an ink
cartridge has passed.
(one month has passed after the speci-
fied expiration date/available)
The specified expiration date of an ink
cartridge has passed.
(two month has passed after the speci-
fied expiration date/available)
Measures
• Make sure there is no nozzle clogging.
(especially for the white ink)
• Make sure that the cartridge is correctly
inserted.
• Reinsert the cartridge.
• Turn off the power on the machine and turn it
on after a while.
When displaying again, contact your local
distributor, our sales office, or service center.
• Set the ink IC chip of correct ink type.
• Set the ink IC chip of correct ink color.
• Set an ink IC chip.
• Make sure that the ink IC chip is correctly
inserted.
