Suspend Mode

Shifting to Suspend Mode

To manually shift to Suspend mode - while the HC700-G is turned on, momentarily press the Power
Button (see Figure 1).
In Suspend mode, the battery power is conserved by automatically turning off the display and the
computer sections of the HC700-G. During Suspend mode the display turns off and the status LED,
inside the Power button, slowly flashes green.
Use Suspend mode as often as possible during daily use to conserve battery power. During Suspend
mode, the Bluetooth radio continue to operate. If Bluetooth communication is active, the Status LED
inside the Power button repeatedly performs a sequence of three fast green flashes and pause.
Note: Manually shifting to Suspend mode is disabled when the Bluetooth radio is communicating.

Automatic shift to Suspend mode

For power saving, the HC700-G will automatically turn to Suspend after a time-out of 1 minute
(default).
Note: Active communication will prevent automatic entering to suspend mode.
To configure the time duration before the HC700-G enters Suspend mode, tap Start Menu > Settings >
System > Power > Advanced. The time-out duration can be set from 0 to 5 minutes, when the HC700-
