To place an emergency call:
If HC700 is in Suspend (screen is blank), press briefly on the Power button.

Tap
Start and select

Dial the emergency number by tapping the on-screen keys.
3.
Press the on-screen Talk key to call the emergency number.

Important Notes:
Before the call can be made, your HC700 must have the phone turned on. If you dial 911 and the phone
is turned off, you will see a prompt advising you to turn on the phone – tap Yes and again tap Talk to
call the emergency number.
If your HC700 does not have a SIM card installed, you will see the following prompt:
"Unknown SIM status.
Only emergency call can be made without a PIN" – Dial again the emergency number and than tap
Talk to call emergency.

Change network settings

Tap Start Menu > Settings.

Tap Phone > Network tab.
2.
You can view available wireless networks, determine the order in which your phone accesses another
network if the current one is unavailable, specify whether you want to change networks manually or
automatically, and add a network. The current network will remain active until you change it, lose your
signal, or change your SIM.
Tip: to change network settings from the Phone keypad, tap Menu > Options > Network tab. The
network your device is currently using will be listed at the top of the screen.

Tap Start Menu > Settings > Phone.
