Using the HC700-G
G is powered by an external power charger, or from 0 to 1 minute when the HC700-G is running only
on battery power (see Figure 12).

Important:
• The HC700-G does not enter automatically to Suspend mode while in the cradle
• The Power button is disabled while the HC700-G is in the cradle
• When the HC700-G is communicating in the cradle, automatic Suspend is disabled

Waking-up from Suspend mode

To wake-up the HC700-G from Suspend mode - momentarily press the Power button. When the
HC700-G resumes operation, it returns to the last program screen shown prior to entering Suspend
mode.
Operation is also resumed when performing one of the following activities:
• Inserting the HC700-G into the cradle
• Pressing one of the Scan/Picture keys (see Figure 2)
• When the HC700-G shows an alarm indication
Note: Tapping on the touch screen or pressing a keypad key does not wake-up the HC700-G.
