Change the synchronization schedule
Schedule wireless synchronization to occur automatically at regular intervals.
In ActiveSync on the HC700-G, tap Menu > Schedule.

When you are working or e-mail
volume is high
When e-mail volume is low
While roaming
When you select Send in
Messaging on the HC700-G
Important note: The HC700-G power-down timer is reset each time you synchronize. If you schedule
a synchronization interval that is shorter than the time interval set for the HC700-G to automatically
power down, the HC700-G will never turn off to save battery power.
Connect to a PC via a cable or cradle
USB is the most common cable type, and the baud and/or cable type is set automatically. You can
manually change the connection settings as described below. The next time you connect your HC700-
G to the PC, this new setting will be used.
Tap Start > Programs > ActiveSync.

Tap Menu > Connections.

Under Synchronize all PCs using this connection, select a baud or cable type.

Do this
Select a shorter interval in the Peak times list.
Select a longer interval or As items arrive in the Off-peak
times list.
Tap Use above settings while roaming. Tip: To minimize
roaming charges, clear the check box and synchronize
manually while roaming.
Select the Send outgoing items immediately check box.
