Battery Disposal

Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with local requirements. Recycling
facilities may not exist in all areas. Please contact your local environmental agency for more
information regarding proper disposal.

Updating the Software

Update Image

HC700-G enables easy update for its PIC, Bootloader and System Software sections by installing a
single file.
To update the software system perform the following steps:
Connect the HC700-G to your PC using ActiveSync.
1.
Copy the xip.bin binary file from your PC to the \IPSM folder located on the non-volatile memory
2.
Double tap on xip.bin file with update.
3.
Select the file in System Update Utility window and tap the "Program Selected Files" button.
4.
Follow the instructions shown on the screen until the end of upgrade procedure.

See how much memory is available

Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Memory.
