Current Criterion for Undervoltage Protection
The 27-1 element and the 27-2 element can be supervised by the current flow monitoring setting. If the
CURRENT SUPERV. is switched ON at address 5120 (factory setting), the release condition of the current
criterion must be fulfilled in addition to the corresponding undervoltage condition, which means that a config-
ured minimum current (BkrClosed I MIN, address 212) must be present to make sure that this protective
function can pick up. Thus it can be achieved that pickup of the undervoltage protection drops out when the
line is disconnected from voltage supply. Furthermore, this feature prevents an immediate general pickup of
the device when the device is powered-up without measurement voltage being present.
NOTE
i
i
If parameter CURRENT SUPERV.is set to disabled at address 5120, the device picks up immediately if the
measuring-circuit voltage fails and the undervoltage protection is enabled. Furthermore, configuration can
be performed by pickup of measuring-circuit voltage or blocking of the voltage protection. The latter can be
initiated via device operation in DIGSI and via communication from the control center by means of a
tagging command for blocking the voltage protection. This causes the dropout of the pickup and parame-
terization can be resumed.
Independent Displacement Voltage Protection
The independent displacement voltage protection can be switched ON or OFF at address 2300 59N DT.
If the protection function is switched ON, the limit values have been exceeded, and the delay time elapsed,
tripping, trip log, and fault recording are initiated.
When set to Alarm Only, no trip command is given, no trip log is started, and no spontaneous fault indica-
tion is issued.
At address 2302 Disp.Volt. from from, you can specify whether to measure or calculate the displacement
voltage (Measured Vx, Measured VGnd, or Calculated 3V0).
You can set the pickup thresholds of the two voltage elements at address 2310 59N DT-1 Pickup and 2313
59N DT-2 Pickup.
The associated dropout ratios are set at address 2311 59N DT-1 DO and address 2314 59N DT-2 DO.
You can set the trip delay time for each element at address 2312 59N DT-1 Delay and address 2315 59N
DT-2 Delay.
Dependent Displacement Voltage Protection
The dependent displacement voltage protection can be switched ON or OFF at address 2301 59N IT.
Address 2320 59N IT Pickup allows you to set the pickup threshold of the dependent voltage element
At address 2321 59N IT D.Ratio, you can enter the dropout ratio.
The associated dropout time delay is set at address 2323 59N IT T Res..
Address 2322 59N IT TD allows you to set the trip time delay of the dependent element.
