Returned Format:
The
:DISPLAY:PERSISTENCE
command
sets
the
display
persistence.
The
PERSISTENCE
command
is
only effective in the
Normal display
mode.
The
parameters for
this
command
are the keywords
INFINITE,
or
SINGLE,
or
a
real numbers from 0.15 through
11.0
representing the
persistence in
seconds.
Any
value
less
than
0.15
will
set
the
PERSISTENCE
to
MINIMUM.
Any
value greater than 10 seconds will
set
the
PERSISTENCE
to
INFINITE.
When
the key word
SINGLE
is sent as
the argument for
this
command,
the persistence value
is
set
to minimum.
The
PERSISTENCE
query returns the current persistence value.
When
Minimum
is
displayed, the
value returned
is 0.
When Infinite
is
displayed,
the
value
returned
is 11.
