2. TROUBLESHOOTING

This product has no detection capability, and so doesn't provide any error-related
functions such as displaying error codes/error messages, and reporting errors to the
printer.
The following sections use flowcharts to describe the analysis and troubleshooting
tasks when problems occur during the paper winding operations.
1. FEED/FORWARD
will not work.
<Symptom>
The paper winding by the FEED/FORWARD switch fails, although the automatic paper
winding by the paper sensor in AUTO mode has operated correctly (in this case, the
paper winding by the FEED/FORWARD switch will not work in MANUAL mode).
<Action>
Check the FEED/FORWARD
switch visually.

cable and connector.
The PCB is failed.
<Cause>
The signal has not been sent from the operation switch
to the PCB.
<Probable faulty component>
The operation switch unit, and/or the PCB.
