2. PRINTER SETUP
2.1 Installation
In addition to the printer unit, an accessory kit is needed when installing the printer.
The kit also includes regional components.
The tools needed for installation are as follows:
• Two levels (QY9-0101)
• A valve releasing tool (QY9-0111)
• A cover switch tool (QY9-0103)
CAUTION
Take the following precautions when installing the printer.
• Make sure that the printer power switch is turned off before starting the
procedure.
• When lifting and moving the printer, always hold the handles or
alternatively the bottom part of the main unit between the legs of the
support stand. To hold any other parts is dangerous.
• The body weighs approximately 288kg. At least four persons are required
to unpack the printer and take it down from the pallet onto the floor.
• When using a ramp to lower the printer, allow enough space on the
nearby floor for the longest side of the printer to slide into.
