Cassette A / B paper pick up roller trace preventive sequence
Because the cassette A / B paper pick up rollers may produce traces or marks on
the roll paper if the paper resides on the cassette for some time, the following
preventive sequence is performed. Please note that the sequence is turned off (0h*
by default.
When printing is instructed after the specified period with the roll paper installed on
the cassette, the front end of the paper is cut about 95mm.
* 3 The possible range for setting is 5 to 300 hours, in units of 5 hours.
Compound roller trace preventive sequence
This is a state in which both the pressure roller trace preventive sequence and the
cassette A / B paper pick up roller trace preventive sequence are combined. When
printing is instructed after the time period specified at the cassette A / B paper pick
up roller trace preventive sequence, the paper is carried about 350mm for cassette A
paper delivery; whereas for cassette B, the paper is carried about 500mm*
* When Paper Cut is set to Yes, the amount of paper carried is cut.
