3. PRINTER'S MECHANICAL SYSTEM
The printer is comprised of two major working components: the ink passage and the
paper path.
The ink passage consists of sub components including the ink bottles, the sub tanks,
carriage (in which the air buffer and the BJ print heads are installed), the purge unit,
and the waste ink tank, all of which implement the supply, circulation and
suction/removal of the ink.
The paper path consists of sub components including the upper/lower cassettes, manual
feed, paper feed, and paper delivery parts, implementing three types of paper pick up
/feed /delivery operations (for cassette A and B, and manual feed).
