2.4.2 Manual Print Position Adjustment
This printer is also capable of allowing manual adjustment of the vertical/horizontal
positions of the four BJ print heads installed on the carriage, and correcting any print
position discrepancies between the printouts in both the forward printing and reverse
printing modes/ during both forward and reverse printing operations.
To perform the manual print position adjustment, first print the manual print position
adjustment pattern which allows for easy identification of position errors. Then check
the errors/deviations on the pattern visually and adjust the print positions by
entering the appropriate calibration values using the operation panel.
A2 or larger roll paper or cut paper must be used for the manual print position
adjustment.

CAUTION
2.5 Head Management (Nozzle Check)
This printer has a head management function to detect any non-ejecting nozzles
(nozzles that cannot spray ink for some reason). When this is detected, the printer
performs the BJ print head cleaning and/or forcible ink circulation operations.

The print position adjustment will not be accurate if there is interference
from outside light. Be sure to close the top cover and right upper cover
before commencing the automatic print position adjustment.
