Auger, Bushing Plate and Block Removal

Make sure the stove has fully cooled (approximately 25 minutes) before conducting service. Unplug the
stove to prevent electrical shock.
1. Remove the rear panel (see section "Rear Panel Removal").
2. Remove the Push Auger Motor (see section "Push Auger Motor Removal").
3. Remove the Visual Deflector and Burn Platform (see section "Visual Deflector and Burn Platform")
4. Reach into the auger tube and hook your finger around the auger flight. Pull the auger flight assembly forward.
5. Use a ¼" nut driver to remove the (2) screws that mount the bushing plate to the Mounting brackets on the HRD (set the
screws aside for reinstallation).
6. Use a T20 Torx bit to remove the (4) screws that mount the bushing plate to the bushing block (set the screws aside for
reinstallation).
