NOTES:
1. Imaging Cartridges – Each Model 2030 Imaging Cartridge contains all the
necessary imaging materials in a single piece. The toner contained in the
Imaging Cartridge is specially formulated to provide you with archive-quality
received documents and management reports.
The Model 2030 uses a unique Cartridge that must be ordered from Pitney
Bowes Facsimile Systems. Exclusive sensors and keying systems will not
allow you to install any other type of Imaging Cartridge.
Cartridge is specifically designed to be replaced after a single use. Refilling a
used Imaging Cartridge is not recommended. The electrophotographic drum
degrades during prolonged use and exposure to light, and damage to the
Model 2030 may occur if an improperly refilled Cartridge is used.
2. Paper Supply – In general, most bond (or "Correspondence Quality") paper
will produce excellent results. Most photocopy paper will also work very well.
There are many "name" and "generic" brands of paper available. You may
want to test various papers until you obtain the results you are looking for.
3. Document Carriers – A transparent folder, referred to as a Document
Carrier can be used with your machine.
documents are either pressure sensitive materials, carbon paper, extra thin or
glossy paper. Document Carriers should always be used when sending small
originals.
Each page of these types of documents must be placed in a
Document Carrier. This protects the original and the Model 2030.
Document Carriers should be sent one at a time. Trying to feed multiple
Carriers may cause a misfeed. Place the closed end of the Carrier into the
ADF first.
