6. Press YES.
7. Press YES. To turn Remote Retrieval ON, press 2
and then YES.
8. Enter a four-digit passcode, e.g. 1234 using the
numeric keypad and then press YES.
9. Press STOP to return to System Ready mode.
If you wish to print a System Set Up Report,
showing the revised settings, press the REPORTS
key. Press the down arrow key (q q ) until SYSTEM
SET UP REPORT appears in the display. Press YES.
To perform Remote Retrieval (receive faxes stored in your 2030's memory from a
fax or personal computer:
Do This
1. Dial the 2030 (that has your documents stored in memory) from any Touch-Tone fax
machine's telephone handset.
2. When receive tones stop, immediately enter the following from the keypad:
#**#XXXX*
Note: If you hear three beeps, this indicates that you entered the incorrect Passcode.
Enter correct Passcode (three attempts are allowed) and proceed...
3. When solid ready tone is heard, press Send/Receive (or Start key) to begin receiving
documents.
