10.4 Disassembling the flowmeter
1. Before starting work on the flowmeter, make sure that it and any adjacent lines or vessels
have been depressurized.
Warning - General risks
Prior to disassembly, check whether hazardous materials have been used as flow media.
Residual amounts of hazardous material may still be present in the device and could escape
when it is opened.
The pipeline must be depressurized prior to opening the device.
Warning - Potential damage to parts
Never unscrew the fixing screws from the base or the transmitter from the base. Doing so can
damage the meter beyond repair.
