Installing the IF and ground cables
To install and ground the IF cable down the mast, proceed as follows:
Procedure 5-12 Install and ground IF cable down the mast
Check that the main IF cable is connected to the mast top LPU and the

connection is weatherproofed.
2 Lay the main IF cable as far as the building entry point, ensuring there is
enough length to extend through the wall of the building to the LPU
inside.
3 Attach the main IF cable to the mast using the cable ties provided.
4 At the first point of contact between the IF cable and the mast, ground the
IF cable to the mast as described in
page 5-20.
5 At the mid point of the mast, ground the IF cable to the mast as described
