Changing administrator
passwords
You can change the password used when logging
in as a device administrator.

Click [Admin Setup]>[Management].

Click [Change Password].

Enter the new password in [New
Password], and then reenter the new
password in [Verify Password].
Note
z When entering a password, "●●●●●" will be
displayed on screen.
z Enter an alphanumeric password from 6 to 12
characters.
z If entering alphanumerics in the password, correctly
enter capital and small letters.

Click [Submit].

The settings will be saved to the device.
It is not necessary to restart the device.
Use the new password when logging in as
an administrator the next time.
Note
z This password is different from the TELNET password.
When the password is changed here, the password when
logging onto the administrator setup menu in the control
panel will also be changed.
