9.3.3 Configuring the PoE Function on an Interface

In an interface view, you can enable the PoE function, set the maximum output power, set the
power supply priority, and specify the power-off time segment.

The system view is displayed.
2. Run:
poe power-threshold thresholdvalue [ slot slot-id ]
The alarm threshold of power consumption percentage is set.
By default, the alarm threshold is 90%. That is, an alarm is generated when the
consumed power accounts for 90% of the total power.

The system view is displayed.
Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view is displayed.
Run:
poe enable
The PoE function is enabled.
By default, the PoE function is enabled on all interfaces.

The system view is displayed.
Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view is displayed.
Run:
poe power maximum-power
The maximum output power of the interface is set.
By default, the maximum output power of an interface is 30000 mW.
