2.7 Snapshot

The DVR enables you to take a snapshot photo either at a scheduled interval (Timing /Scheduled) or
when activated by a pre-determined event (Trigger/Activation), such as a motion detection event.
Set up the Snapshot as described in this section and then follow instructions for the desired snapshot
type, either Schedule Snapshot described on page 33 or Activation Snapshot on page 34.
View the images in the Playback screen. See section 2.5 on page 21.
To set up a snapshot:
1. Open the Snapshot screen from the Main Menu (Setting > Camera > Encode > Snapshot).
2. Make the appropriate settings, as described below:
Snap Number: This sets the quantity of images that are created each time you manually
activate a snapshot.
Channel: From the dropdown, select the channel to which the following settings pertain.
Mode: There are two modes: Timing (Schedule) and Trigger (Activation). If using Timing
mode, also set the Snapshot Frequency. If setting an Activation Snapshot, also go to the
Detect interface (Main Menu > Setting > Event > Detect) to enable the snapshot and set
the channel(s).
Image Size: Set the snapshot picture size.
Image Quality: Set the snapshot quality. The value ranges from 1 to 6.
Snapshot Frequency: Set the timing (schedule) snapshot interval. The value ranges from
1-7 picture(s) per second.
3. Click Save.
