1.3.1 Alarm Port

1.3.2 Alarm Input Port
•
Connect in parallel the COM end and GND end of the alarm detector (providing external
power to the alarm detector)
•
Connect in parallel the Ground of the DVR and the ground of the alarm detector
•
Connect the NC port of the alarm sensor to the DVR alarm input (ALARM)
Note: When your alarm input device is using external power, make sure the device and the DVR
have the same ground. Also, make sure that there is power to the external alarm device.

Description
Alarm Inputs (active low)
Control power output. For an external alarm, close the device power to
cancel the alarm.
External power input. Peripheral equipment must provide +12V power
(< 1A).
Earth ground
Activation Outputs 1-4, normally open (on/off switch)
Activation Output 5, normally closed (on/off switch)
Four-wire double duplex RS485 port
T+ T-: output wire
R+ R-: input wire
485 communication port: controls the PTZ decoder
